Businesses learn to partner

The Agoura/Oak Park/Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce has partnered with the Valley Economic Development Center to assist businesses. Last year the VEDC helped launch 155 new businesses that created 600 new jobs and provided $20 million in loans to small businesses. "We are going to be doing more in Agoura Hills and see a great opportunity in partnering with the Chamber," said Roberto Barrigan, VEDC president. Since 1975 the organization has been providing aid to businesses, including financial assistance and entrepreneurial and work force training.
