CR Print wins award

CR Print, a Westlake Village printing company, received a first-place award in the category of "Stationery Packages" in the 2007 PrintImage Excellence competition held in Chicago in September.

The winning entry- a letterhead, envelope and business card printed for Entec Instruments Inc. of Simi Valley- was designed by Jon Kaya of Kaya Design and features an embossed business card with a 3D appearance.

"We are delighted with this award," said Dave Friedl, CR Print executive, "but not really surprised. We had a dynamite design to work with and were very confident when we entered the contest."

The company employs 20 people and provides production design, offset and digital printing, finishing and mailing services to businesses and organizations in Ventura and Los Angeles counties.
