Folks at Agoura pet hospital 'truly care'

I wanted to commend Agoura Hills Animal Hospital for their wonderful kindness last week.

I have a cat that is seriously ill with a rare disease, and I couldn't get him to eat. Cats can only go three days without eating; after that their liver starts to deteriorate. I was frantic and went to AHAH to buy a prescription food that I had gotten before in the hopes that he'd like it. Unfortunately, the manufacturer didn't make that food anymore.

One of the veterinarians came into the lobby and pulled five different cans of prescription foods that he might be able to eat. When I went to pay for them, she told me just to take them and see what he'd eat, then I could come back and buy some more.

I will never forget the kindness bestowed upon me that day, and I wanted to let the community know that the people at AHAH truly care. Madeline Vadnais Oak Park
