Resident to discuss her colonial roots at DAR luncheon meeting Diana M. Johnson will speak on "Discovering the stories behind my Colonial Virginia ancestors," at a luncheon meeting of Don Jose de Ortega Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, 11:30 a.m. Thurs., Nov. 15 at the Braemar Country Club, 4001 Reseda Blvd., Tarzana. Johnson is a member of the Conejo Valley Chapter of the NSDAR. She will tell how her research in Richmond, Va. helped her create a memorable story and how her grandfather inspired her to research her family tree and to organize it into books. Johnson is the author of several historical books and a member of many lineage organizations, including the Order of the Crown of Charlemagne and the First California Company of the Jamestown Society.
