Events to help Talbert Foundation

UNA boutique and Apothia will host a cocktail shopping event in support of the Talbert Family Foundation from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Fri., Nov. 16 at the Westfield Topanga Mall.

Fifteen percent of the evening's sales will be donated to the Talbert Family Foundation, a Calabasasbased nonprofit group that provides charitable assistance in the community.

The event is themed "Velvet Rope" to highlight an Apothia perfume by the same name that will be on sale at the women's clothing boutique.

The foundation's fourth annual Calabasas Classic running and walking races will take place Sun., Nov. 11 at the site of the new Civic Center near the Commons.

The foundation provides financial assistance to local families with members suffering from catastrophic illnesses, primarily cancer.
