Two small businesses in the San Fernando Valley recently received the SCORE-LA's 2007 Success Story Award.

During the past four years, Pamela Orenstein, founder and owner of Dance Dimensions Performing Arts Center, has created a dance studio offering diverse styles, as well as acting and musical theater for both adults and children. The studio is involved in outreach programs, such as performing at retirement homes and community events.

The studio is at 6275 Variel Ave., Woodland Hills. In December, the business will move to the Woodland HillsWestfield Promenade with expanded studio space and a performance stage.

Deborah Imlay, owner of EZ auctions, has in two years built a successful e-business selling ladies' lingerie and other clothing and collectible items on eBay under the name DebsCouture. Imlay is also an authorized eBay education specialist who trains others to start their own Internet businesses.
