Dentist receives a fellowship

Dr. Robert L. Merin of Woodland Hills was awarded a fellowship in the American College of Dentists during its September meeting and convocation in San Francisco.

The American College of Dentists is a national honorary organization for dentists. It was founded in 1920 to recognize dentists who have made contributions to the advancement of dentistry. About 3 percent of dentists are Fellows of the American College of Dentists.

Merin is on the national ADA Anesthesia Committee and is director of the California Society of Periodontists Student Leadership Award. He is past president of the California Society of Perio-dontists, UCLA Dental Alumni and West Hills Hospital Dental Staff.
