Westminster Free Clinic hosts open house

Westminster Free Clinic, a private nonprofit healthcare provider in Thousand Oaks, hosted its first open house and volunteer recognition day last month at the United Methodist Church in Thousand Oaks.

In addition to honoring its volunteers, the clinic acknowledged the contributions of local optometrists, dentists, diagnostic centers, printing companies and local Rotary Clubs.

A mock clinic conducted by high school students was followed by a videopresentation, and Thousand Oaks City Council members commended the volunteers.

Westminster Free Clinic has been in operation for more than 15 years.
