Concert will honor fallen LAPD officer
Event is tribute to George Michael Selleh

Friends and colleagues of the late George Michael Selleh will hold a benefit concert in his memory at The Canyon club in Agoura Hills on Sunday, Nov. 11.

Detective "Mike" Selleh, 29year veteran of the Los Angeles Police Department and 13-year-resident of Simi Valley, died in a motorcycle accident in the early morning hours of July 29. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Barbra, and two children, Scott and Jessica.

Friends of Selleh and supporters of the LAPD are invited to celebrate the fallen detective's life with an evening of music and comedy. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Selleh's immediate family.

Radio personality Rick Dees and Johnny Melendez from The Tonight Show will be masters of ceremonies. Musical entertainment will be provided by classic rock band "Retro Rockit" and Pink Floyd cover band "Which One's Pink?"

There will also be a silent auction and raffle.Items include a ride on the Goodyear Blimp, a soccer jersey autographed by David Beckham, lunch with LAPD Police Chief William Bratton and a ride-along in an LAPD helicopter.
