YMCA hosts pancake breakfast

Triunfo YMCA and the Agoura/Las Virgenes Optimist Club will host a pancake breakfast in conjunction with Sunday's annual Pumpkin Runs. Proceeds from the breakfast will be shared by Triunfo and the Santa Comes to Agoura food drive.

The breakfast, which includes pancakes, sausage, orange juice and coffee, will be served from 7 to 11 a.m. Sun., Oct. 28 behind City Hall in Westlake Village. The cost is $4 for adults and children. Coffee will be available for $1. The Pumpkin Runs are hosted by the Thousand Oaks-Westlake Village Regional Chamber of Commerce.

The YMCA will use the money for family programs for those who otherwise might not be able to afford them. The Santa Comes to Agoura food drive helps feed hungry people.

"The money is going back to the community. It's about kids and families," said George Annino, director of Santa Comes to Agoura.
