Someone stole a $500 navigation system from a vehicle parked in the 28900 block of Park Heath Road Oct. 12. The culprits also caused $150 in damages smashing a window to gain entry.

Thieves stole $4,000 in cash and a five-gallon water container valued at $10 from an unlocked garage in the 5500 block of Colodny Drive Oct. 10.

Calabasas

Burglars stole a $2,000 laptop computer, a $1,000 desktop computer and a $900 monitor from a business on North Parkway Calabasas Oct. 15. The culprits also caused $700 in damages shattering a glass window.

Thieves stole two laptop computers worth $3,000 and a $600 necklace from a home in the 4200 block of Lost Springs Drive Oct. 15. They also shattered a $200 window to gain entry.

Someone caused $600 in damages trying to gain entry into a business in the 23800 block of Calabasas Road Oct. 15.

Someone stole a $200 bicycle from the front of a residence in the 4100 block of Arroyo Willow Lane Oct. 14.

Thieves stole $5,500 worth of jewelry from a home in the 3600 block of El Encanto Drive Oct. 14.

A shopper at Ralphs in the Calabasas Commons reported that someone stole a billfold with bank cards from her shopping cart. The thief tried to use one of the stolen cards to make purchases on Oct. 14.

Thieves stole an iPod, sunglasses, a cellphone and other items valued at more than $5,000 from a vehicle parked in the 800 block of Crater Oak Drive Oct. 12.

Someone stole a purse containing $250 in cash, an iPod valued at $330 and a driver's license from a car parked in the parking lot at Chapparal School in the 22600 block of Liberty Bell Drive. The incident occurred on Oct. 12.

Also on Oct. 12, vandals stole eight brass remote control valves and other accessories valued at $1,600 from a company hired by the city to irrigate public areas in the 22600 block of Mulholland Highway.

Oak Park

A convertible top was slashed between 11 p.m. Oct. 15 and 2:39 a.m. Oct. 16 in the 600 block of Oak Run Trail.

Something was stolen from an apartment in the 5600 block of Foxwood Drive between 9:30 a.m. and 10:45 p.m. Oct. 16.

Westlake Village

Thieves stole a $500 subwoofer speaker from a vehicle parked in the Costco parking lot on Lindero Canyon Road Oct. 15.

Someone stole a wallet containing $40, a driver's license, a credit card and a registered nurse identification card from a vehicle parked in the 3200 block of Lindero Canyon Road Oct. 14.

Vandals stole checks and credit cards from a locked business office in the 31200 block of Cedar Valley Drive Oct. 12.
