Outdoors brochure available

The free autumn 2007 brochure "Outdoors in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area" is available.

The publication highlights programs such as the Rising Sun Meditation Hike at Franklin Canyon Ranch, as well as walks, hikes, talks and presentations.

The brochure is available at the National Park Service Visitor Center, 401 W. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks; by calling (805) 370-2301, and online at www.nps.gov/samo.

The center is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily
