Registration open for Great Pumpkin Runs
Day-long event slated for Sun., Oct. 28

PUMPED- Participants can register for the 29th annual Great Pumpkin Runs and Health Fair scheduled for Sun., Oct. 28 at the Westlake Village Civic Center. The event is part of Westlake Village's City Celebration and includes a 5K, 10K and 1-mile Mayor's Healthy Run/Walk. The Thousand OaksWestlake Village Regional Chamber of Commerce is taking registrations for the 29th annual Great Pumpkin Runs and Health Fair scheduled for Sun., Oct. 28 at the Westlake Village Civic Center, 31200 Oak Crest Drive.

The run is part of the city of Westlake Village's City Celebration and includes 5K, 10K and 1-mile Mayor's Healthy Run/Walk.

Registration begins at 7 a.m. Starting times are 8 a.m. for the 5K Devil's Dash, 8:50 a.m. for the 10K Goblin's Gallop, and 9 a.m. for the 1-Mile Mayor's Healthy Challenge TrickorTreat Trot.

A Mini Health Fair, from 7 a.m. to noon, will feature healthand fitness-oriented merchants.

Running clubs receive 20 percent off registration fees. Preregister by Oct. 22 at www .towlvchamber.org to print and mail in registration, or online at www.active.com, search for Westlake Pumpkin Runs.

Registration fees are $5 extra on the day of the event.

Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in each age group for the 5K and 10K runs. All finishers of the 1Mile walk/run will receive medals. Prizes will be given for the best costumes.

Refreshments and goodies will be provided for all runners.
