Def Leppard drummer to lead Veteran's Day drum circle

JOINING TOGETHER- A Veterans Day community drum circle with Rick Allen,drummer for the rock band Def Leppard, will raise funds for a new trauma and resiliency program to benefit veterans.

A Veterans Day community drum circle with Rick Allen will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. Sun., Nov. 11 at the Topanga Community House, 1440 N. Topanga Canyon Blvd., Topanga.

Drums will be provided for the first 200 people.

Allen is the drummer for rock band Def Leppard and co-founder of the Raven Drum Foundation.

Raven Drum Foundation is a nonprofit organization, which provides free drum and healing programs to atrisk and incarcerated youth, cancer patients, veterans and trauma survivors.

The Veterans Day drum circle will raise funds to support the foundation's new trauma and resiliency program that will benefit veterans.

Donations are $30 at the door and $25 if paid in advance at www.ravendrumfoundation.org. No donation is asked for children under 12.
