Student heads to Washington, D.C.

Coertunay Krause, a student at A.E. Wright Middle School, will take part in "Voices of Leadership: Reflecting on the Past to Create the Future," the Junior National Young Leaders Conference, this fall in Washington, D.C.

During the six-day program, students will take part in educational activities and presentations. They may have the opportunity to meet with elected officials and congressional staff members.

They will also visit historical sites in the capital as well as in Philadelphia, Pa., and Harpers Ferry, W.V.
