Gilbert and Sullivan show scheduled

The Ventura County Gilbert and Sullivan Repertoire Company will present "Ruddigore, or The Witch's Curse" Fri., Oct. 5 through Sun., Oct. 21 at the Theatre on the Hill, Hillcrest Center for the Arts, 403 W. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks.

Showtimes are 8 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays, with an opening night Champagne Gala.

The baronets of Ruddigore are cursed and must commit a crime every day or die. Robin Oakapple, a baronet in disguise, loves Rose Maybud, but his brother Richard also loves her, and outs Robin. Robin must answer to his ancestors' ghosts, who insist he commit his daily crime.
