•The nonprofit Volunteer Organization of Los Robles Hospital in Thousand Oaks has opportunities for volunteers willing to serve four hours a week.

Positions are open in discharging patients, information desks, admitting, emergency room, surgery information desk, gift shop, recovery room and more. For information, call (805) 370-4716.

•The National Multiple Sclerosis Society's Southern California Start to Finish Bike Tour is Oct. 20 to 21. •The Conejo Valley Retired and Senior Volunteer Program is recruiting men and women ages 55 and above to assist at a variety of local nonprofit agencies. Opportunities include:

Shop Ahoy, a program for people who cannot do their own grocery shopping, needs phone order takers, shoppers and delivery persons.

Adult literacy teaches reading, writing and spelling to adults.

Manna needs help in stocking items at a food bank.

Conejo Free Clinic requests nurses, paralegals, a receptionist and data entry clerk.

Meals on Wheels needs drivers to deliver meals to ill or homebound seniors.

American Cancer Society wants drivers to transport patients to doctor appointments.

American Red Cross needs people to register donors and host refreshment table at a fundraiser.
