Fiesta, casino excursion slated for seniors
Agoura Rec programs keep older adults active, socializing

Seniors can enjoy a variety of events in October.

•The Reyes Adobe Days Fall Festival will begin with Fiesta at the Adobe, a luncheon for adults ages 50 and up, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fri., Oct. 12 at Reyes Adobe Park, 30400 Rainbow Crest Drive, Agoura Hills.

The luncheon will feature live entertainment, a rancho-style lunch, tours of the historic Reyes Adobe, the Art Gallery on display in the barn and prizes.

Shuttle service will be provided from the Agoura Hills Recreation Center to the park. Cost of the luncheon is $8.

•The city of Agoura Hills Older Adult/Senior Recreation Program will travel on a gaming excursion to Chumash Casino on Mon., Dec. 10.

The bus will depart from the Agoura Hills Recreation Center at 8 a.m. and return at 6 p.m. The cost is $15. Early reservations are requested.

A $12 yearly registration fee is required to participate in the Senior Recreation Program and entitles seniors to enroll in any classes and excursions offered by the Senior Recreation Program.
