Scouting for new Cubs

EAGER- Two new Cub Scout dens are forming in Westlake Village and new scouts are invited to join existing dens. Scouts learn outdoor skills, earn badges for community service and have fun working with other young boys. Cub Scout Pack 3785 of Westlake Village is forming a new Tiger and Wolf Den for the fall for first- through fourth-grade boys living in Westlake Village, Agoura Hills, Thousand Oaks or Oak Park.

New Scouts are being accepted for Bear and Webelos I dens.

Interested families are invited to attend the October Pack meeting from 3:45 to 5:15 p.m. Sun., Oct. 28 at White Oak Elementary School, 31761 Village School Road, Westlake Village. Those new to scouting should arrive at 3 p.m. to learn more about Cub Scouts.

Upcoming activities include fishing, hikes, camping, popcorn sales, the "Rain Gutter Regatta" and the annual Pinewood Derby. Boys can learn values, make new friends, and earn prizes and badges.
