Sagebrush Cantina drops prices when it's hot

Prices drop at Sagebrush Cantina when the temperatures rise.

"People tell me they just don't want to leave their offices and homes during these heat waves," said owner Bob McCord. "I thought, 'What could I do that would be fun when people see the weather forecast?'"

When temperatures are above 100 degrees, McCord will take 20 percent off the food portion of patrons' lunch bills. A banner will be hung on the front of the restaurant when the discount is in effect.

Sagebrush Cantina is in Old Town Calabasas at 23527 Calabasas Road. The restaurant opens at 11 a.m. Monday through Saturday and at 9 a.m. Sundays.
