Dancers will tap away

Pepperdine University Center for the Arts presents Jazz Tap Ensemble in "American Tap Masterpieces: The Hollywood Journey: Dance, Music, Film" at 8 p.m. Fri., Oct. 12 at Pepperdine's Smothers Theatre, 24255 Pacific Coast Hwy. in Malibu.

The show features six dancers, four musicians and a vocalist. Dances in the styles of Bill "Bojangles" Robinson, Fred Astaire, Eleanor Powell, the Nicholas Brothers, Jimmy Slyde and Gregory Hines will be presented.
