Malibu Performing Arts Center to present benefit

The Malibu Performing Arts Center will present a benefit concert for the City of Hope at 7 p.m. Sat., Sept. 29 at 23825 Stuart Ranch Road, Malibu. Doors open at 6.

Performers scheduled include host Denis Leary and his band The Crown Royals, Martin Short, Bobcat Goldthwait, the cast of Mad TV and The Knack.

Silent and live auction items will include autographed guitars and sheet music.

Platinum level tickets, $275, include a cocktail party with the performers before the show, premier seating and an after-party package.

Gold-level seats at $150 include a cocktail party. Silver level seats for $75 and offer reserved seating.

A portion of the ticket price is tax-deductible. All net proceeds will be given to the City of Hope to benefit breast cancer research, treatment and education.
