Another word on those chem trails Reading the letter in this week's Acorn, I had to shake my head at the close-minded people who only believe in what they are told to. The Sept. 13 letter written by R. Stilson, "Doesn't buy conspiracy theory," gets under my skin. How someone can call any letter outside the norm "garbage" shows a lack of contemplation and imagination. I have also noticed the trails in the sky and have only mentioned my observations to my wife and a few close friends. What I have noticed is that every time the streaks appear in the sky, not the lower ones from planes but the trails in the upper atmosphere, we have a heat wave. This was demonstrated again a few weeks ago. I know everyone who reads this is going to think I am crazy. My wife and friends did, until they started noticing I was right. They became believers and even call when they observe the trails. Unfortunately I have not spent hours on the Internet to see if I am among the first to scrutinize this phenomenon. Just so Mr. Stilson and the readers know, I do care about other issues in our community and the world. I am educated, served in the armed forces for five years, and I don't think "our government did it." All I ask of the readers of this letter is an open mind. Don't roll your eyes and say I am crazy until you test my theory out. Gil Tobias Agoura Hills |
