Art museum to offer appraisals

The Conejo Valley Art Museum will host Appraisal Day from 10 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 3 p.m. Sat., Sept. 15 at the Aviara Real Estate offices at 2555 Townsgate Road, Ste. 200, Westlake Village.

Experts from Bonhams & Butterfields will provide verbal auction estimates of the value of personal treasures, such as fine art, furniture, decorative art, books, manuscripts, jewelry, prints or photographs.

Each item appraised will be charged $10, $5 for museum members. Appraisal proceeds will benefit the museum building fund.

Appraisals will be available on a first come, first served basis.
