Panel discussion for parents

There will be a free panel discussion for parents from 7 to 8:30 p.m. tonight, Thurs., Sept. 6, at Calvary Community Church, 5495 Via Rocas, Westlake Village. Refreshments will be served.

The panel is intended to educate parents about individualized education programs, behavior plans, family dynamics, legal issues and how to get help for their children.

Panel members will include police officers from the juvenile team at Lost Hills Sheriff's Station, behavior and education specialists Cinda Chatfield and Mark Goldstein, family therapist Paige Smith and special needs expert Stephen Trudeau.
