Actors wanted for Conejo Players' 'Blithe Spirit'

Auditions for "Blithe Spirit," a farce by Noel Coward, will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sun. through Tues., Sept. 2 to 4 at the Conejo Players Theatre, 351 S. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks.

Actors should prepare a oneminute comedic monologue with a "Queen's English" accent. There will be cold readings from the script in dialect.

The play's cast includes two middle-aged men and five women. In the show, a writer invites a local medium to conduct a séance at his home in hopes of collecting material for his new book.

The play will run from Nov. 24 to Dec. 14.
