Learn about Catholic faith at St. Mel's

St. Mel Catholic Church is holding its annual Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) from 7 to 9 p.m. beginning Tues., Sept. 11 at 20870 Ventura Blvd., Woodland Hills.

This program is for baptized Catholics or a baptized Christian of another denomination who now desire to receive the sacraments of the Eucharist and/or confirmation, as well as individuals interested in learning more about the Catholic faith or are contemplating joining the Catholic Church.

The program ends in March 2008 when those who elect to do so are received into the church at the Easter Vigil Mass.

No prior commitment is required and participants may leave at any time.
