Readers Theater TV kicks off with new play by local writer

Readers Theater Television began its sixth season at 5:30 p.m. on Thurs., Aug. 30 on Time Warner Cable with "Noir," written by Ray Malus of Woodland Hills.
Actors were Tim Gallagher of Oak Park, Tim Holtwick and Srinivas Kanury of Simi Valley, Bridgette Lindgren and Matt McGee of Thousand Oaks, Michael Aronovitz and Regina Mocey of Agoura Hills and Paul D. Roberts of Los Angeles.
Readers Theater Television produces tapings of staged readings of original plays and screenplays for broadcast on Time Warner Cable, public access Channel 25 in Agoura Hills, Camarillo, Fillmore, Moorpark, Newbury Park, Ojai, Oak Park, Santa Paula, Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks and Westlake Village.
The project is co-produced by Gallagher and Mocey.

"Noir" by Ray Malus on Readers Theater Television will run through November. "Noir" will have its live theatrical debut at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 9 at St. Martin-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church, 7136 Winnetka Ave., Canoga Park.
