Junior gardeners bring home honors from Ventura County Fair

The Conejo Valley Junior Gardeners earned many awards at the Ventura County Fair. As a group they submitted 48 entries.

Winners of Best of Division prizes are Camille Duckett and Eileen Davis, both of whom also received several first and secondplace ribbons.

Neil Davis and Kyla Vinson also received ribbons. Kyla Vinson and Ellery Vincent were California Garden Clubs Inc. state winners.

The junior gardeners group is affiliated with the Conejo Valley Garden Club. Contests and college scholarships are available. Gardening workshops are open to children from the age of 5 through high school.
