Republican women to hear combat colonel

The Westlake Village Republican Women Federated will host a luncheon at 11 a.m. Thurs., Sept. 20 at Bellavino, 3707 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., Thousand Oaks. Lunch will be served at noon.

The guest speaker will be Col. James D. McGinley of the U.S. Marine Corps who has recently returned from Iraq. He will share stories and pictures from his deployment to the combat zone.

Cost is $35. Guests are welcome. Checks for reservations should be mailed no later than Mon., Sept. 17 to WVRWF, 1125 Lindero Canyon Road, A-8, Box 102, Westlake Village, CA 91362.
