Someone tried to enter a home on Waterford Way Aug. 26. The culprit caused damage to a screen door but didn't manage to get into the house.

Vandals spray-painted a wall in The Commons shopping center on Aug. 25. Damages were estimated at $150.

Thieves stole a hand basket and a six-pack of hard cranberry lemonade from the Gelson's grocery store on Mulholland Highway Aug. 24. The loss was $27.

Vandals caused $400 in damages to a plastic play set at a Mulholland Heights park on Via Del Prado. The incident occurred Aug. 24.

A female, 21, was arrested at 9 a.m. Aug. 23 in Simi Valley for possession of stolen property, grand theft and for possession of a controlled substance regarding an incident at 10:39 a.m. Aug. 18 in the 6300 block of Tamarind Street.
