Chamber will promote school, career program at breakfast

The Thousand OaksWestlake Village Regional Chamber of Commerce will promote the SchooltoCareer programs of Las Virgenes and Conejo Valley unified school districts at the Networking Breakfast of Champions from 7 to 9 a.m. Fri., Sept. 7 at the Los Robles Greens Banquet Center, 299 S. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks.

Registration begins at 6:45 a.m., with an Early Bird Drawing at 7 a.m.

This is a collaborative business and education event presented by the school districts, School-to-Career and Regional Occupational Program representatives, the Chamber's Education Committee and the breakfast sponsor, Barbara Sponsler with Capital Mortgage Resources.

The event will include information on the program as well as students and business representatives that have benefited from being involved in the School-to-Career Program.

Prepaid reservations are due by 2 p.m. Thurs., Sept. 6. Chamber members pay $18, nonmembers $23. Payment after the deadline and at the door is $27.
