Westlake's Carson notches resume

Randal Carson

Kipp Brant Drummond & Associates, a retirement and financial planning firm in Ventura, announced the hiring of Randal Carson of Westlake Village as an associate vice president and wealth advisor.

Carson, a fifth generation native of Southern California, has more than 25 years of experience in the financial industry, having represented such companies as E.F. Hutton and City National Bank.

Carson specializes in personal portfolio design and management.

He earned his bachelor of arts degree in economics from UCLA in 1979 and holds seven securities licenses.

Carson Peak near June Lake in the Sierra Mountains is named after his great-grandfather, Roy Carson, who established Carson's Camp Resort at Silver Lake, CA.

Several original cabins built by the Carson family in the 1920s are still used today.
