Parents invited for sneak peak at program

Parents are invited for a sneak peek at Agoura High School's Link Crew program at 7 p.m. Tues., Aug. 28 in the Agoura High School gym.

The orientation program will allow parents to experience what their children will encounter on their first day of school.

Karin Salzman, coordinator of the "parents-only night," said the Link Crew program allows freshmen to begin their first day of school before all other grade levels and participate in an orientation program before their first official class.

"The purpose of Link Crew is to help make the transition from middle school to high school a positive one," Salzman said. Juniors and seniors will serve as leaders and mentors to the freshmen. Large and small group activities will be presented to address students' needs and concerns in an enjoyable manner.

For further information, contact Salzman at (818) 889-1262, ext. 572.
