Speaking of traffic

Have they nothing better to do? Recently, my wife was driving around our home in Oak Park when she was pulled over by a local police officer. The offense: tinting on the driver and passenger side windows.

Mind you, this wasn't a citation given along with some other grievous offense such as a moving violation- no, this was the only reason she was pulled over. On top of that, the officer informed her that they were going to be "cracking down on tinted window violations," no pun intended, I'm sure.

But whoa, cracking down on tinted window violations! Get out the rubber bullets and the mace! The Crime Fighters of the Conejo are on a mission. I guess we should be happy that they have nothing better to do than this, but really, is this the best use of their time? John Goodman Oak Park
