Thinks Kuperberg whitewashed Kanan problem

This letter is in response to our elected leader, Dan Kuperberg, who has some "thoughts and opinions" on the debacle that is the Kanan interchange. After analyzing the insightful letter our mayor shared with us, if I may, I would like to interpret it for all the boys and girls of Agoura.

First, thank you so much Agoura for your input. Second, it's Caltrans' fault.Third, the project was "immensely complex," which is to say this particular interchange was like no other in the history of California interchanges and therefore is beyond the scope of our comprehension. Only "professionals" can grasp this complex project.

Further, if we do come up with a better solution (of which I've personally read many in The Acorn), we are "naive to think" said solutions are "that simple."

In summary, our mayor is saying: Leave it to the professionals to screw it up; it's too complex for the people of Agoura to understand, and even though it appears to be completed, "be patient" and trust us. Blaine Ziolkowski Agoura Hills
