Synagogue to host benefit golf tourney

Temple Aliyah of Woodland Hills will hosts its 10th annual Golf Classic on Mon., Oct. 8 at Wood Ranch Golf Club, 301 Wood Ranch Pkwy., Simi Valley.

Registration with continental breakfast and pretournament contests will start at 8 a.m. A shotgun start is scheduled for 10 a.m. A barbecue lunch will be served on the course. A silent auction, cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be at 3:30 p.m., followed by dinner, live auction, raffle and awards presentation at 5 p.m.

The cost is $300 per player and includes a gift bag, souvenir photograph of foursome and awards dinner reception. Reservations for the reception only are $50.

Sponsorship opportunities from $200 to $10,000 are available. Businesses are invited to contribute items for the auctions and raffle.

Proceeds from this annual charitable event will supplement the temple's community and educational programs.
