General Plan workshops continue

The city of Calabasas will host the third public workshop on the city's General Plan update at 6 p.m. today, Thurs., Aug. 16, at the Agoura/Calabasas Community Center, 27040 Malibu Hills Road, Calabasas. Refreshments will be provided.

The plan is being updated to guide community growth and development to the year 2030, according to a city spokesperson. The new plan will provide an "overall community vision" and will address such issues as land use and development, traffic and circulation, open space, recreation, cultural resources and housing.

All Calabasas citizens are invited to participate in the workshop.
