'The Tender Trap' opens at Stage Door

The Stage Door Theatre opens the romantic comedy by Max Shulman and Robert Paul Smith, "The Tender Trap," at 8 p.m. Fri., Aug. 10 at 28311 Agoura Road, Agoura Hills.

The play revolves around Charlie Reader, a young bachelor in New York who's living the "ideal life" with an elegant apartment, a good job and millions of girls until an old friend comes to town to stir things up.

The play continues through Sept. 15. Performances are 8 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sun., Aug. 12 and 26.
