There's gotta be more to the story

I was surprised that The Acorn gave Brad Wear's dispute with the Sherwood Homeowners Association as much print as it did. I'd be even more surprised if The Acorn deemed any followup letters worthy of publishing.

Your story is about one of three dogs that has to go. This almost qualifies as a tear-jerker. I wonder if the real story is something else, perhaps about barking dogs.

Wear says that rules regarding pets aren't enforced except when a complaint is filed. I can only assume that a complaint was filed against the three German shepherds. The only reason I can think of for a complaint would be excessive barking by three German shepherds.

When I first read the story about the three dogs, my thought was that Wear was a victim of excessive harassment by the Sherwood HOA.

I'm now of the opinion that Wear isn't the victim at all. The true victim would be the person who filed a complaint against barking dogs. Gus Smyrnos Newbury Park
