Festival celebrates Agoura's rancho roots
City invites businesses, community members to sign up as sponsors

The city of Agoura Hills is inviting businesses and residents to help sponsor, plan and/ or volunteer at events during Reyes Adobe Days.

To sponsor an event, join a committee or learn more about participating, interested parties should call the Agoura Hills Recreation Center at (818) 597-7361 or sign up at 30610 Thousand Oaks Blvd. in Agoura Hills.

The third annual Reyes Adobe Days will take place Fri. through Sun., Oct. 12 through14. The citywide festival features entertainment, music, cultural activities and recreation for all ages.

The cultural heritage of Agoura Hills will be showcased throughout the weekend in honor of the city's 25th anniversary.

The festival will include a fiesta on Friday, parade on Saturday and pancake breakfast on Sunday. Other activities include a Day at the Adobe, a teen dance, a 5K run and a music festival.

BY HAND- Children learn to make tortillas from scratch at the annual Reyes Adobe Days festival. The weekend event, scheduled for Oct. 12 through 14, features many area sponsors. Those interested in participating can call (818) 597-7361.
