Calabasas club to host district governor

The Rotary Club of Calabasas will host Larry Jernigan, the newly installed governor of Rotary International District 5260, at its meeting at noon today, Thurs., Aug. 9, at the Native Cafe and Gathering Grounds restaurant, 23536 Calabasas Road.

Calabasas residents and individuals who work in Calabasas are welcome to attend any Thursday luncheon to participate in club fellowship and learn more about the club's commitment to providing humanitarian service and building goodwill and peace in the world.

The local club sponsors an annual Thanksgiving feast for low-income seniors, a financial program to assist Calabasas families and individuals in crisis, and an international peace program.
