Deputies roll out Operation Safe Canyons
Summer sting designed to slow down drivers speeding on narrow mountain roads

The traffic safety program is an ongoing effort by the CHP and the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Lost Hills Station to make local canyon roads safer. Left, the owner of an impounded motorcycle will have to pay about $600 to recover his bike. The rider was charged with multiple infractions after being pulled over by officers.
