Rancho Simi offers senior classes

Senior classes for people 50 years and older will be offered this fall through the Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District. All classes are held at the Oak Park Community Center unless stated otherwise.

•Computers for Beginners will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays from Oct. 4 to Nov. 8. The fee is $90. The class will be held at Medea Creek Middle School.

•Senior Jazzercise Lite is an ongoing class Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. The fee is $30.

•A new soap making class will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tues., Nov. 13. The fee is $40, plus a $15 supply fee due at the start of class to the instructor.

•A volleyball skills clinic will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. on six Saturdays beginning Oct. 13. The fee is $35.

•Yoga classes are Tuesdays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. from Sept. 18 to Oct. 23 and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to noon Sept. 20 to Oct. 25. The fee for each series is $60.

•Several sessions of PilatesStretch are offered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays throughout the fall. Fee is $59 for one class per week, $109 for two and $159 for three.
