Sign-ups for youth volleyball league begin

United States Youth Volleyball League is accepting registration for the fall season.

The Oak Park league runs for eight weeks from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursdays and 10 to 11 a.m. Saturdays at Deerhill Park beginning Sept. 13. Every player receives a volleyball, uniform Tshirt and participation medal.

The league is coed for children ages 7 to 14. The motto is "every child plays" and there is an emphasis on sportsmanship, cooperation and teamwork.
