Readers Theater presents 'A Lovely Life'

Readers Theater and OASIS will present a reading of "A Lovely Life: the Life of Edna St. Vincent Millay" by Dorothy Stickney at 1 p.m. Fri., July 27 in music room No. 3400, Pierce College, 6201 Winnetka Ave., Woodland Hills.

Admission is $5. Parking is free.

The reading will feature Rosemary Bird of Oak Park. Bird has appeared in many local theater productions, including Cabrillo Music Theatre's "The Music Man."

Future readings scheduled are "The Lady's Not for Burning" by Christopher Fry, Wed., Sept. 26, and "Glengarry Glen Ross" by David Mamet, Wed., Nov. 7 for the Malibu Book Discussion Group.

Readers Theater also produces tapings of staged readings of original plays and screenplays, which are aired at 5:30 Thursdays on Time Warner Public Access Channel 25. The project is co-produced by Tim Gallagher of Oak Park and Regina Mocey of Agoura Hills.
