Quintet to perform The Danny Janklow Quintet will perform at the Jazz Bakery in Culver City on Thurs., Aug. 2. Janklow, who plays tenor sax, and band members Scott Bramer on guitar, Michael Gold on piano, Eric Lamm on double bass and Jamie Eblen on drums, will premiere original compositions in addition to class jazz and contemporary works. Eric Lamm of Agoura High's Studio Jazz Band was also a soloist winner at the Ellington competition. Reservations are required. General admission is $20, and students pay $10. The Jazz Bakery is located at 3233 Helms Ave., in Culver City. For reservations, call (310) 271-9039. |
