Aizuss elected president of medical association

Dr. David Aizuss, an ophthalmologist living in Calabasas, has been elected the 136th president of the Los Angeles County Medical Association.
Aizuss was sworn in as LACMA president during a ceremony at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles. In his inaugural address, he pledged to help physicians confront the economic realities of practice in order to preserve and protect the doctorpatient relationship.
Aizuss has been active in LACMA for more than 20 years.
After earning his doctorate at Northwestern University Medical School, Aizuss went on to become a resident in the UCLA School of Medicine's Jules Stein Eye Institute in the department of ophthalmology, where he is an assistant clinical professor.
Aizuss works at Encino Hospital, Tarzana Regional Medical Center and West Hills Hospital.
