Band pays tribute to AC/DC at Canyon

Bonfire, an AC/DC tribute band, comes to The Canyon on Sat., July 28.

Bonfire covers the era of AC/DC when Bon Scott was the front man. The early AC/ DC catalog of songs includes "TNT," "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" and "Highway To Hell."

Last summer the band traveled to Wales to perform at the Big Ball AC/DC festival. The fans proclaimed Bonfire the best tribute to AC/DC they have had in the three years of the event.

One of the members of Bonfire, Steve Pandol, has been a native of the Conejo Valley for 13 years. Pandol plays the part of lead guitarist Angus Young.

James Pulli is a Simi Valley native and bassist for the band.

"It's always great to see so many young kids a t our shows. It's hard to imagine an AC/DC show being a family event, but we always see the kids singing along with mom and dad to these classics," said Pulli.

The Canyon is at 28912 Roadside Drive, Agoura Hills. For tickets, call the box office at (818) 879-5016.
