CRPD offers Petsaver class
Participants learn animal first aid

The Conejo Recreation and Park District will offer a Petsaver class from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Sat., Aug. 4 at Hillcrest Center, 403 W. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks.

The class, taught by Marion Wagstaff, a certified Pet Tech instructor, will cover rescue breathing, choking management, wellness assessment, heat injuries, poisoning, bleeding protocols, bites and stings, dental care, injury assessment and caring for senior animals.

The cost is $35 for indistrict patrons and $42 for out-of-district patrons.

Each registered participant will receive a 42-page Petsaver book.
